I think I am in trouble: my heart is racing, and I’m short of breath; I can’t control my own thoughts. My mind is all over the place; mostly in a distance land, where birds of the same feathers roam the street in search of flight, and elephant glide elegantly upon the majestic sky, and dolphin in search for love in a fish market.

And upon the stall in the bazaar that the dolphin found the Siamese fish: dressed in black, covered with golden roses, eyes glimmer in the dark, and sparkling teeth that outshine the moon in many moonless nights.

“What are you doing here?” The Siamese Fish asked.

“In search of love.” The dolphin replied.

The Siamese smile. “Why would a sea creature like yourself be looking for love in an unlikely place?”

“I don’t know. A mermaid in grayed beard told me, by the ocean called Heavenly Sea north of here, to come. I don’t know what I was supposed to look for until I found you.” The dolphin replied staring into the glittering eyes.

“What do you mean? What did you find when you see me?”

“Love.”

“Why would a sea creature like yourself find love in this part of the world? Why don’t you go back to your big coral reef, deep clean blue sea, and your vast open spaces? I know your kind. All you want are few days of bliss and you go back to your pack and left me here all heart broken.” The Siamese Fish poked the dolphin in the nose.

“I don’t think I can.” The dolphin said quietly, stunted. “You are too beautiful.”

The Siamese smirked in satisfaction. “I heard that before, what do you want?”

“Can I have the privilege of having you accompanied me for dinner?” The dolphin asked.

The Siamese Fish stared into the dolphin big hazel eyes, penetrated his soul, and into his future. The dolphin, just stood there, lost for words. He just can’t keep his eyes away from the sparkling dress, the colorful scale, and alluring voice.

“Just dinner? How about lunch and breakfast?”

“That would be nice.” The dolphin smiled in satisfaction. “Will I pick you up at 8?”

“Will you able to find this place again? “The Siamese Fish asked. “You foreigners are usually lost here.”

The aroma of Tuscany grapes, mingled with a hint of earth, the wine brought the two fishes to the moon, where they dined next to the fire lit by rainbow upon the stars of Aquarius. They traveled by horse-ridden carriage through the street of Montreal, where maple leaf snowed in middle of summer sun. They talked until the moon turned blue, and cover the Siamese Fish in red as she sat in the lazy chair in front of the fire upon the dolphin’s room.
